"Hi there, my name's Snowy Skies! It's very nice to meet you. I love ice cream and swimming. I've always wanted to find a Seapony!"

ASK SNOWY SKIES was a Tumblr ask blog that I began in 2012 when I was 15, and ran intermittently until 2017. Snowy was my very first MLP OC, and I had so much fun running her blog! She remains very dear to me.

Her story has changed significantly since I ran this blog, and I now consider it mostly non-canon. One important difference to note is that for most of the blog's life, Snowy was depicted as a child. That has since been changed, but please keep it in mind while looking through this archive!

Posts appear oldest to newest. Some posts will not be archived here for various reasons, and others have been lost over time, so some plotlines and interactions may be fragmented.

Snowy Skies: “Thanks a bunch!!”

Snowy Skies: “Reuniting with old friends makes me want to dance!

Snowy Skies: “Don’t tell my Mum..”

Archive Note: This is still one of my favorite things I drew for this blog.

Snowy Skies: “Seriously, don’t tell my Mum.”

Ask Snowy Skies was started in 2012, when I was 15 years old, and I can say with absolute certainty that it was one of the best online experiences I ever had. The “pony ask blog” community was booming back then— I remember when the Season 2 finale dropped; the excitement that followed, the inside jokes (remember Gak?), the amount of new blogs that surged in. It was always a kind and welcoming place to be, and I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world, nor will I forget it.

My art has improved so much over these past ten years, and I’m confident that Snowy was a part of that. I still find myself coming back to this blog now and then, just to look through my old art, all of the wonderful fanart, and my positive interactions with others. I miss it now and then, though I know this era of my life is over.

I might not be posting on this blog anymore, but I haven’t stopped drawing! Snowy has even stuck around, and remains one of my dearest and most-drawn characters to this day. If you want to check out my recent work, or follow me elsewhere to see what the future brings, I’ll have some links below for where you can find me.

Thanks for an amazing ~7 years, my friends! I hope you’re doing well out there! 💜

Archive Note: That's the end! If you made it this far, kudos to you. It may seem silly, but this blog and its character feel like a small piece of me. I'm glad I could share it with you, and I hope you enjoyed it.
